The NS2 range of manual motor starters provide protection against Phase failure, overload and short circuit protection in a compact package.
A lock off feature is provided as standard and an automatic test switch is conveniently mounted on the front face.
NS2-25 and NS2-80B AC motor starter is applicable to a circuit with AC voltage up to 690V and current up to 80A ( 45KW@ 415V ). It can be used to protect a three-phase cage asynchronous motor and a distribution line against overload, phase-failure and short circuit, to control the motor’s infrequent starting and other infrequent load conversion. It can also serve as isolator.
A wide range of accessories, side and head mounted auxiliary contacts, under voltage release; shunt trip contacts and an IP55 plastic enclosure are readily available. Both the NS2-25 and the NS2-80B are suitable for snap fix mounting to 35mm Top Hat section DIN rail. The NS2-25 is approved by SEMKO.
